PRO’s 40,000 sq ft facility is equipped with the necessary equipment to develop bench scale and pilot pre-commercialization projects in the areas of metallurgical and mineral processing as well as support incubation and commercialization initiatives by SME's.

Ore Benefication
PRO has utilized its extensive knowledge in the efficient processing of ores utilizing our facilities in the areas of:
- Laboratory and pilot scale ball/rod mills suited for batch and continuous process operation
- Jaw crushers/pulverizers
- Hazemag impact crusher
Pyrometallurgy
PRO has good pyrometallurgical facilities capable of developing processes in areas of roasting, smelting, and pyrohydrolysis. Equipments include
- Small scale fluid bed and tube furnaces
- Muffle furnaces with operating temperatures up to 1200 °C
Hydrometallurgy
PRO’s proven laboratory and pilot facilities for hydrometallurgical processing include the following:
- Pilot continuous atmospheric leaching system
- Bench scale titanium and pilot scale stainless steel autoclaves for high pressure leaching with capacity of up to 50 gallons
